What is Crypto?

Cryptocurrency (or “crypto”) is a type of digital asset that uses blockchain technology to enable secure, transparent, and decentralized transactions. Unlike traditional currencies issued by banks or governments, crypto operates on distributed networks, giving users more control over their funds.

At Toyow, crypto is used as a primary method to buy, sell, and interact with tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) on the marketplace.

Why is Crypto Used on Toyow?

Crypto enables:

  • Fast transactions – Near-instant transfers compared to traditional banking

  • Global accessibility – No dependency on local banking systems

  • Transparency – All transactions are recorded on the blockchain

  • Security – Cryptographic verification reduces fraud risks

Important Things to Keep in Mind

  • Always ensure you are using the correct network when depositing or withdrawing crypto. Using the wrong network may result in loss of funds.

  • Transaction fees (gas fees) may vary depending on the network used.

  • Stablecoins like USDT and USDC are designed to maintain a stable value, making them ideal for transactions.
